Craig - the urgent was me in the middle of a problem, and I didn't have time
to start financials.

In the end, I managed to poke around in the Sanface version and get it to do
a form of page throw, although it's still not a brilliant solution.

If it really is urgent, $100 sounds like a bargain, though I do
understand that people with budget authority don't always see it that
way.  There is another commercial option that recently added VMS
support, but I don't really know anything about it:

<http://search.cpan.org> and search on "PDF" to see what turns up.
