I'm inclined to do that instead. I don't think VMS ever really saw PASTHRU until the recent set of alphas. For example, its dist_test didn't. Because I removed the VMS dist_test override it now does. As for the BFD_TEST_ROOT issue, I've made setup_recurs do it itself so the tests don't have to. Try out the latest from svn.
