Hi,

I don't know if anyone out there is interested in Tk fixes for VMS, but I have
one.

I couldn't get FBOX.PM to change directories or save files. Since the problem
was critical to my work, I decided to take the easy way out and modify FBOX so
that it displayed paths in a Unix-like manner. For example, if my file was in:

DISK:[username.subdir.otherdir]file.txt

it would show up as

/DISK/USERNAME/SUBDIR/OTHERDIR/FILE.TXT

in the FBOX window.

I don't know if anybody has done anything more pretty than this. I also don't
know if anybody but me is using Perl/Tk on VMS. Our version of Tk was built by
a former employee of HP-France, and is not officially supported by HP.

Anyhow, this change works, but is hardly VMS looking. If anybody has a more
VMS-like version of FBOX, let me know! My users would prefer to use it
(although they don't want it badly enough for me to get paid to fix it....)

Thanks,

-Doug
