In the VMS specific POD there is instructions on how to do single tests
using the @[.vms]test ".EXE" "" "-v" [-.pod]emptycmd.t.
Run it with verify on, it will show you how to run the tests with the
mcr command, which can give more detail.
If you can output on to an X-11 display, you can debug using the forked
debugger.
The cpanplus tests will not run on VAX because they require ODS-5 files.
