More tests are probably needed in filespec.t of course.
I was concentrating on getting the final part of the symbolic links in.
It was not until recently that I realized we needed a vms_rename()
routine in addition to a vms_realpath() and also that the vms_realpath()
could be made to work with any version of VMS.
