yes it looks the ext.slicer.org server is down again.. Maybe Steve can reboot :)
To try, you could
a) get the SlicerVmtk sources here:
http://www.nitrc.org/scm/?group_id=196 and move it to Slicer3/Modules
and add it to Modules/CMakeLists.txt and re-compile Slicer3
b) if you feel adventurous, checkout the SlicerVmkt4 for Slicer4 at
https://github.com/haehn/VMTK-in-3D-Slicer - I haven't tried to build
it for a while and it's not official yet but would appreciate any
comments..
