Dear VMTK developers, since there's no precompiled VMTK package to use in Slicer 4 that I'm aware of, I tried to build it from sources. The Slicer build went fine, but the package 'VMTK in 3D Slicer' doesn't compile for me. I have the following error:
[ 58%] Building CXX object vtkVmtk/IO/CMakeFiles/vtkvmtkIO.dir/vtkvmtkDICOMImageReader.cxx.o /home/martin/opensource/repository/vmtk-in-3d-slicer-git/build/VMTK/vtkVmtk/IO/vtkvmtkDICOMImageReader.cxx:31:25: fatal error: vtkstd/vector: No such file or directory The problem is that the VTK build directory inside Slicer 4 has no sub-folder 'vtkstd' as it is the case when VTK is build as a part of the VMTK superbuild. It looks like Slicer uses either different version of vtk or compiles vtk with different cmake options (than VMTK). Unfortunately, I'm lost in the Slicer build system and cannot find where to check those things. Could you please give me an advice how to fix this. I can compile vmtk by itself from superbuild without any problems. Sorry if this is a post rather for slicer forums .... Thank you very much for any help.
