If the host server is running Windows 9x/ME, you can't send a CTRL-ALT-DEL
from the client. Actually I should refraze that. I believe it is the host
server that will just ignore it when running on one of these versions of
Windows.

If you are using Windows NT, 2000 or XP, right click on the VNC Client
button on the task bar or the VNC logo in the upper left corner of the VNC
client (also known as system menu), and select "Send Ctl-Alt-Del". That
should do the trick. If not, try selecting the "Ctl Down" and then the "Alt
Down" and finally pressing the Delete key. Don't forget that you will have
to select the Ctl Up and Alt Up after doing this or else these keys will
remain virtually pressed.

Again, if your host server is not running a version of Windows based on NT
technology, it isn't going to do anything and there is no way to bring up
the Close Program dialogue box that usually shows up when you press
CTRL-ALT-DEL. Though I am not positive, I believe this was done by design
because all applications stop working when you bring up this list, and that
would include WinVNC which would really defeat the purpose.
