Hi, Hope the experts here can help me with this. I'd like to tunnel my winvnc sessions at work through ssh to my home linux box. Setting up the ssh connection with port forwarding is no problem, but when I tunnel through with winvnc, the program is way unstable. It crashes repeatedly with no error messages or tells me that it received an unknown type of signal (sorry, I don't remember the exact words, but I think that's the gist of it).
Typing more than a couple of words is usually impossible. I'm connecting from several windows machines with various configurations. My vncserver is a kde 3.01 session. I run it at a depth of 8. Sometimes I connect with tightvnc too but that doesn't perform any better than vnc. Any tips and/or solutions will be apprieciated.
