V1.41 on the server.

The test results I got from someone where in fact just the difference local LAN option
on//of . On fast networks it speeds up vnc, on slow it is even slower.
He tought that it was the driver speed...

When you put on the logging and find
E:\vnc_winsrcresize\winvncsrv\vncDesktop.cpp : Driver enabled
E:\vnc_winsrcresize\winvncsrv\vncDesktop.cpp : Driver found
E:\vnc_winsrcresize\winvncsrv\vncDesktop.cpp : buffer found
 the driver is working

Normal the user should do nothing the get the driver working.
Install package (driver is auto installed)
It didn't worked before because I made a mistake in the code !

On xp the driver seems to have the possebilty to be uninstalled without removing
vncdrv.sys
Strange, becuase the driver for w2k and xp is the same.

Possible there are still some bugs with the new Partial desktop options.
bug1: App with a splash screen is not placed in the bounding of the partial desktop.
??

Greetings
Rudi

:-} yes there is always that first euphoric reaction of "Great it didn't break
or crash my system"
experienced by users as well as developers. Then just as you are about to fall
asleep with a smile on your face,
the reality of not having done a positive test kicks in. Many of us have been
there and will again.

I'll be trying this package out real soon now, so haven't yet checked if there
is a readme file or something
that indicates use of user announcement or a pop-up or "status" hot-spot on a
tray-icon or even a statistics/performance log associated with this package.
If any of those exist, it would be a good idea for the readme to have a
section on "Confirming successful operation";
this is more important for drivers than software visible via the task-list I
guess.

Of course, with such stunning performance improvements, the operation ought to
be quickly apparent.
