Hi, Some while back there was a lot of discussion about problems encountered when running VNC between machines (even on a local network) where one or more had Zone Alarm installed. I have ZA on the VNC viewer machine (Win98SE), but not on the VNC server (WinNT4), and I find the connection impossibly slow unless I disable ZA in which case the connection is wonderfully fast.
I've not seen anything on the subject recently. Does this mean: a) Someone posted a universal solution that I simply missed, or b) Everyone gave up on Zone Alarm? Observations Invited...
