I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro... Maybe that is why I'm not seeing any errors with
VNC.?.?
Also, I'm using standard VNC 3.3.3R9.

I tried disabling ZAP and using VNC into the server and saw little or no
performance improvement. Logically, there should be something, but It wasn't
enough of a change to catch my eye.

Thanks for this thread. I was planning on trying this tonight. It's just
what I needed to know. (Tomorrow, when it fails miserably, I'll need to
know 'just something else'!! LOL!!)

By the way, Is the ZA pro worth the extra money? Does it really stop the
pop up ads? Will it further hamper VNC?

Have a Good Day,

Michael L.
