Well, it definitely depends on the application.  You *can* run apps such as the
venerable "edit" fullscreen editor within Win2K telnet sessions; others - if
truly MS-DOS applications - will have issues.  I've been able to run Word 5.5
for DOS in a telnet session before, but I wouldn't bet on the average ca.-1992
MD-DOS app running correctly.  Beyond screen issues, some implemented annoying
CPU-sucking keyboard polling routines that ran in a tight loop; this will drag
down performance of a Win2K system in no time flat.
