I essentially did the same thing. I have about 150 users. About 100
are at this location. I am having trouble with a batch file install to the
remote sites. Probable my own ineptitude. Locally, I visited each machine
to run other updates and perform the company's first real inventory of
hardware and software. I install VNC and then run a *.reg file I made that
has the preset password and the lines for removing the Wallpaper and
disallowing the properties function. It is working very well. Then my
boss fixed the default Logon script to remove the VNCViewer.exe from
everyone's machines except ours. No tampering has occurred. It's great.

I have about 40 PC's to install VNC on.
What's the best way to do a mass-install so that
each PC has the same password and port setting?
I know there are some registry entries that keep some of this
but I'm not sure of all of them and not sure weather just
putting them into another PC (.reg) would do what I want.
Can VNC do a silent install?
Any thoughts on any of this?
