I have BellSouth ADSL internet access. I've been using VNC to access my
machines via the internet for a couple of years now. BelSouth decided to
change my connection from a bridged connection to a PPPoe connection. I
changed my router to establish the PPPoe connection. Ever since I made that
change when I try to connect with vncviewer I get the vnc server password
prompt and I enter the correct password and then the screen just stays gray
and never paints. I've had someone at the remote end and they say that I am
in control of the PC. They se me moving the mouse. I can still use vnc
between the PCs on my lan with no problem. Anyone have an idea how changing
the ADSL connection to PPPoe could have caused this behavior? I've tried it
from different PC's, different providers, . . . same behavior.
