try seting it to localhost:1.0
As 0.0 is for the console (monitor attached to the box). and remote
applications have a hard time accessing it.

Subject: Unable to open display 'localhost:0.0'

Hi all,

I am trying to run VNC in a Solaris Sparc station.
Whenever I try to run the vncserver, the Xvnc starts
correctly but all the xapplications (mwm, xclock,
xterm...) give the following message:
Unable to open display 'localhost:0.0'
So I can not get my window manager (mwm) running.

The variable DISPLAY has been correctly set and there
not other Xservers running.

Could anybody help me with this, please?

Thanks a lot,

Pablo
