Hi all,

my company is using Winvnc and vncviewer on Win2000 clients and servers. We
as helpdesk personnel use the viewer to connect to the servers and so what
ever it is we need to do.

The funny thing is, I can connect to one server using its password (whether
its logged in or not), but the guy next to me cannot. He used to be able
to, but for some reason the behavior has changed for him. He gets a
password prompt, but no matter what he enters it fails to connect him.

Now from what I understand, this shouldn't happen. I thought that maybe he
had entered the password incorrectly several times, and now it perhaps
captured his IP address and is using that as a 'deny' option, but I'm not
sure.

I, personally, get the same thing happening to me from home when I try to
connect to my work PC.

Any ideas?
