Subject: WinXP reboots itself...

> I have a WinME 'server' running VNC as a serveice. When I connect to it
from my WinXP Home PC, the WinXP machine will occasionally (like once in
every 20 tries or so) lock up, and then reboot itself moments later. No
error messages, nothing - just a warm reboot.

Most likely you are getting an error but can't see it. I'm not familiar
with WinXP but there is an option that you need to find about "Automatically
Reboot" on a System Failure. You might be able to see the error in the
Event Log also.

Possibilities included Video Drivers, Lan Drivers, Bios, or any number of
things.
