Yes, we see this occasionally on VNC on Win2K. The only way I've found to resolve the issue is to restart the VNCserver service on the server. It seems to work fine after this. I don't know what causes it in the first place though.
Andy. -----Original Message----- From: Steven Jack [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 18 September 2002 10:00 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: VNC Connects to 2000 server then closes Hi I have a problem with VNC v3.3.3 R9 server running on a Windows 2000 workstation. The client connects and after the password challenge the screen window shows the remote machine, then immediately disconnects. Strangely I noticed that if the show default settings window is displayed on the server then the clients can connect okay. I have tried re-installing the server as both an application and a service. Anyone seen this before ? I have other 2000 machines which work fine.
