Hello. I just upgraded from the latest release from AT&T and the latest
.4) from RealVNC ltd. I've upgraded on both client and server. Both
machines are X11. The remote server is XFree86 4.0.2, client is 4.2.0

Everything was working fine before the VNC upgrade. I'm running 32 bit
on the server, like before... but now I get extremely weird colours. A
grey (d4d4d4) is a weird brown-yellow, and other shades of grey are
purple.

I've tried with 8, 16 and 24 in the vncserver script and nothing helps.

This is what is in the ~/.vnc/hostname:1.log file:
