Hi,
I just installed VNC 3.3.4 for Solaris on my x86 box running Solaris 8. I
realize the the version that you have listed was originally for 2.5, but I
was hoping that it would work anyway. The problem that I'm is that when I
run vncserver, I receive the error: "./vncpasswd: syntax error at line 1:
`(' unexpected " (without the quotes). Since I just installed the program,
I'm running it as root so permissions shouldn't be a problem. I tried to run
it as a user and it created the .vnc directory under my home directory as
expected, but there are no other files in it. Any ideas that you might have
to fix this would be very helpful.
Sincerely,
Kevin W. Smith
