Fred, I've been following this thread from the start. I should have responded sooner, but it's fun to watch the Linux guy try to help the Solaris guy all the while wondering why no one searches the archive for answers! Follow the instructions from old post - it is tested and works for Sol 2.6 and 8 for XDMCP/CDE login:
