I don't think you can.  I believe it was designed so it had to be there.
However, mine disappears all the time.  I think on the old one if you ran it
as a service it wouldn't always come up.

I just discovered that realvnc existed.  When I was using the 'old version'

wasn't really compatible with XP Pro.

I use VNC to 'spy' on my students, since I havn't yet found out how to
configure netmeeting to perform this task.  In this way I can check up on
what
they are doing, with out their knowledge and without taking control of their
computer.

It would be great if I could remove the VNC icon from the taskbar so that
they
don't know that the program is installed and running.  Is this possible?
