Just my 2 cents:

1 - Our computers are company property, on a company owned network

accessing company resources.

2- Anything done by the users on the computers are property of the company,

since the users are being compensated for said work. They are not for

personal use of any kind. ( pending termination of any infraction )

3 - All users have been notified of above in writing, the option for IT to
monitor,

without additional notice of all resources ( including screens ). This is
both

for resource management, and reducing risk of legal action due to
inappropriate

actions of the users.

4 - The extra Icon in the system tray is just one more thing wasting
real-estate.

5- the main point i guess is its the companies machines.. privacy does not
exist

in the corporate environment, and we have informed everyone as such before

hire. ( and gotten their signature in response )
