Very strange...

I've been running VNC on ME ever since it debuted without a single hitch. In
fact, I have not found any software or OS update designed for Win9x that does
not work on ME. The difference could be that I never upgrade from one OS to
another - I always do a fresh install. I have rarely seen a Microsoft OS
"upgrade" work flawlessly, no matter which version, and would not recommend
it. I have tried all flavors of VNC on multiple ME machines with complete
success. Then, too, I do try to keep a good relationship with the Almighty
One. (no, not Mr. Gates...) :-)

Just to make things even worse, I've had two cases this week where a
customer
installed patches from Microsoft for ME and all sorts of things stopped
  working.
