Hi,

Q1:

While starting VNC server, the following message will be prompted:

>
>[root@localhost tmp]# vncserver
>
>New 'X' desktop is localhost.localdomain:1
>
>Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
>Log file is /root/.vnc/localhost.localdomain:1.log
>
>[root@localhost tmp]#
>

I think my VNC server can't be ran properly. It shows running on
localhost.localdomain. Why don't it show my ip address ? Can I set a fix IP for it ?

Q2:

Can I set the http port to 80 for VNC server ?

I have tried to type the following command to change the port.

>
>[root@localhost tmp]#Xvnc -httpport 80
>_XSERVTransSocketINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
>_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running
>
>Fatal server error:
>Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already running
>[root@localhost tmp]#
>

What's problem about that ? How can I stop my X server running ?

Thanks.

Regards,

Lok
