Or you can just use tightvnc http://www.tightvnc.com/ and add the reg dword value of: DisableTrayIcon with 1 to disable and 0 to enable tray icon in the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3
