I am using STRCM and it works brilliant. The files you need is listed
in the *.rcm file. Just install VNC on your machine and copy the files
to the directory specified in the *.rcm file.

SourceDirectory="Server Share"
DestinationDirectory=\\%computer%\admin$\system32\rc
FileList=winvnc.exe;msvcirt.dll;msvcrt.dll;omnithread2_rt.dll;vnchooks.d
ll;vnchooks_settings.reg

Just watch out for the omnithread dll. With Tight VNC it is
Omnithread2_rt.dll and the standard version of Winvnc is
omnithread_rt.dll

Subject: Remote install of WinVNC 3.3.4 thru the STRCM tool

Anyonw knows how individual files can be extracted from the WinVNC 3.3.4

installation package (VNC-3.3.4-X86_WIN32.EXE)?

I need the files on that VNC distribution to install the software
product
on remote computers thru the free STRCM tool.

(extract from the STRCM.htm help file)

Quick Setup for VNC

Find any existing VNC installation directory, and copy the following
files
into a directory, either on your local computer or on a network share:

winvnc.exe
msvcirt.dll
msvcrt.dll
omnithread_rt.dll
vnchooks.dll
vnchooks_settings.reg

Modify the SourceDirectory setting in the VNC.RCM file to point to this
directory.

Modify any additional settings in the VNC.RCM file to configure the
STRCM
utility for your environment. See the STRCM Configuration section below
for
more information on all of the configuration options.

In a 3.3.4 installation omnithread_rt.dll does not exist, but
omnithread2_rt.dll. Also, vnchooks_settings.reg, msvcirt.dll and
msvcrt.dll
does not exists (maybe 3.3.4 put these into the system directory?). I
think
that to be sure about the files I need to put into the STRCM
installation
directory the best way is to extract all files from the package.
