        The RFB protocol used by VNC is inherently rate-limiting, and is based
upon a request-response model for delivery of graphical updates to
clients.  If the server display is changing very quickly then updates
will only be transferred as quickly as the client can receive and
process them, and send the next update request.
        So if you have an operation which causes windows to open/close or be
manipulated in other ways automatically, then it's likely that this rate
limiting will cause many of the intermediate changes to be effectively
"skipped".
        Are you talking about the case where you perform an automated operation
which causes windows to be brought up briefly on the display, which are
subsequently closed, restoring the display to the original state?
