Hi all!
More than 3 years ago, I tried asking in this mailing list whether anyone
has luck copy and paste between a VNC server running KDE and the client
running MS Windows. No luck last time.
Now, I'm running KDE 3.0.3 under VNC 3.3.4 in a Mandrake 9.0 PC, viewing
with VNCViewer 3.3.4 running under MS Windows 2000. I'm still having
problem copy and paste between Windows and apps under KDE. Anyone can help
me out this time?
Regards,

Hi all!
I cannot copy and paste text between my server (RedHat 6.1, vnc 3.3.3, kde
1.1.2) and my client (Windows 98, vnc 3.3.2r2).
If I select some text in Kconsole or use the Copy function in Kfm, I have
no problem pasting it to other apps running in the server, even to non-K
apps such as rxvt. However, the copied text is not copied to the client's
clipboard and I cannot paste it to other Windows apps.
Strangely, in the same KDE session, I can copy / paste between non-K apps
such as rxvt and my client without problem. So does it mean that K apps
use a different clipboard? It is, then how come non-K apps like rxvt can
read that while vncserver can't?
Any one can help?

Programming, as in formatting code and composing algorithm,
is indeed an art by itself.
Hence, programmer can be considered as some kind of artist.
Too bad, artist generally are not paid well. =(
