Hi,

I saw your message on the VNC archives and I was having a similar problem
and may have something else you can try. I tried connecting to a locked
Windows 2K workstation only to have it disconnect me (using the client) or
just display a blank screen (using the java browser client) before I would
have a chance to press Ctrl-Alt-Del. However, if the workstation was not
locked, I could connect just fine. What I did (and it seems to solve the
problem) is to leave the machine unlocked and connect to it. Once you are
connected, send Ctrl-Alt-Del and lock the workstation. Then it will let you
lock and unlock it without disconnecting you. Even after disconnecting,
letting the screensaver come on and lock the workstation, I can connect to
it and it will allow me in to unlock it without disconnecting me. I'm using
VNC 3.3.4. Hope this helps.
