Hi, I saw your message on the VNC archives and I was having a similar problem and may have something else you can try. I tried connecting to a locked Windows 2K workstation only to have it disconnect me (using the client) or just display a blank screen (using the java browser client) before I would have a chance to press Ctrl-Alt-Del. However, if the workstation was not locked, I could connect just fine. What I did (and it seems to solve the problem) is to leave the machine unlocked and connect to it. Once you are connected, send Ctrl-Alt-Del and lock the workstation. Then it will let you lock and unlock it without disconnecting you. Even after disconnecting, letting the screensaver come on and lock the workstation, I can connect to it and it will allow me in to unlock it without disconnecting me. I'm using VNC 3.3.4.
