You forward the VNC ports from the router to your computer for incoming
connections.  For outgoing connections you need her IP address.  A dynamic
DNS service can be helpful, or you can use e-mail/ICQ/AIM/MSN etc. to send
the IP address.

Same as above.  Depending on how the network is configured you might use the
IP off the firewall instead of the IP address of the machine.
