It started on 10/28/2002 and was titled "Virtual Monitor / CRT driver". Anyway, to this query, I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish? If you just want to take control of the laptop sitting next to you (the way you would if it were another monitor attached to the desktop PC) I think you are looking for Win2VNC (http://www.hubbe.net/~hubbe/win2vnc.html).
