I dont know if you'e eer used 3D Studio Max, or Photoshop, but imagine
having one monitor with the working area (image) and another monitor with
all the tools on for the program. Its easy to do with 2 gfx cards under
windows, and many people do.
What Im wondering is if I could use a laptop with some sort of VNC related
app instead of the second monitor. In essence, it would be like having a
video input card on the laptop.

But thanks! I mentioned I was looking for new ways to use VNC, just wish I
hadnt got that cheap KM switch now too :(
