Here's a couple of suggestions for the RealVNC client. I'm using the latest 3.3.6 client for Windows, and noticed two things that the TightVNC client does by default that the RealVNC client doesn't. 1) The client should let you try to connect 3 times on fatfingered passwords. TightVNC client, if the incorrect password is entered, it will go back to the "Connection Details" dialog to let you try the connection again. After the 3rd failed attempt, the client shuts down. 2) The TightVNC client defaults to "Shared (don't disconnect other viewers). This is nice in an environment where a lot of users share a pool of PC's, the user connects, notices someone else using the machine without their VNC connection closing, and can disconnect gracefully without the other user being bothered. Just a couple things I liked about the way the TightVNC client acted. Thanks, Mike ======================= Mike Hanby Gig 'em Aggies!
