VNC doesn't care what you are using for SSH because the tunneling is
basically transparent to VNC.

That said, I took a look around the QPC website and didn't see anything
mentioned about it supporting tunneling, so you might be out of luck with
that.

PuTTY gets good marks because it is Free (Beer and Speech), does tunneling,
and in general "just works".
