Hello, I would like to know if any users here has successfully accessed their VNC desktop which is behind a Kerio Winrouter software firewall.
I have setup port forwarding from external port 5801 to internal port 5801, 127.0.0.1. When I attempt to access my VNC desktop from an external host using IE (eg. http://hostname.com:5801), i will get the password prompt. However after entering the password, I will get an "Operation Timed Out" error message. BTW, after disabling Winrouter, I can access my desktop without any difficulties. Has anyone here a workaround solution for this problem? Thank you a lot in advance. Regards, Chow Q. C.
