Hallo!

I would like to know if any users [..] successfully accessed
VNC desktop which is behind a Kerio-WR software firewall.

I have setup port forwarding from external port 5801
to internal port 5801, 127.0.0.1.
AFAIK, you should use the lan ip of your host here.
eg. 10.0.0.1 But it works fine this way as well.

When I attempt to
access my VNC desktop from an external host using IE
(eg. http://hostname.com:5801), i will get the password
prompt. However after entering the password, I will get
an "Operation Timed Out" error message.
Well, you have only forwarded the java/http client
interface through your router. You need to forward the
related rfb port as well: 5901 (if display is =1).

BTW, after disabling Winrouter, I can access my desktop
without any difficulties.
Sure, cause you don't access the net throgh the (nat)
router then.
