Greetings -
I have been struggling to get AllowLoopback to work with WinVNC 3.3.6 on
Windows2000.
I think I have read just about every post in the FAQs, etc, and they all
refer to a registry setting (DWORD) AllowLoopback 0x00000001 (1).
I have created this entry along with all of the other default entries that
appeared in the registry under \..\ORL\WinVNC3. I have installed and
uninstalled the service numerous times.
No luck. Can someone please help with this? I am comfortable with VNC in
general (I've used it for many years) and with making Windows Registry
changes. I must be missing something really simple.
One other question - will the VNC Server also use the registry if it is run
as an application rather than a service?
Thanks in advance -
