Using the xinetd method to start a vncserver means that the session is
started when you connect with the viewer and destroyed when you close the
viewer. The server doesn't persist.

When starting VNC from a console (or via init) you connect to a session that
is already started. When you close the viewer the vncserver stays running.
That means when you re-connect you see the exact same screen as when you
last disconnected. The server persists when you close the viewer.

PS - Please send replies to the list in the future.
