Hello, I installed the vnc packages yesterday on my redhat 7.1 machine. Everything worked excellently! I could access vnc from windows clients anywhere and also through the browsers. This morning i wake up, and it no longer works! I would love it if someone could tell me WHY this is happening????? it would seem that local connections (ie # vncconnect localhost:1,# telnet localhost 5901, etc) work ok, but the point of my installation was to access a console screen from my home over the internet. I have tried reinstalling the packages but it didn't solve the problem. My log file shows as follows: --- 24/02/03 20:18:18 Xvnc version 3.3.3r2+tight1.1p9 24/02/03 20:18:18 Copyright (C) AT&T Laboratories Cambridge. 24/02/03 20:18:18 All Rights Reserved. 24/02/03 20:18:18 See http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc for information on VNC 24/02/03 20:18:18 Desktop name 'X' (server.canody:1) 24/02/03 20:18:18 Protocol version supported 3.3 24/02/03 20:18:18 Listening for VNC connections on TCP port 5901 24/02/03 20:18:18 Listening for HTTP connections on TCP port 5801 24/02/03 20:18:18 URL http://server.canody:5801 24/02/03 20:18:36 Refused connection from client 24.201.73.xxx ---
