The name of your Dial-Up Connection is not the name of your server.
You'll either need to type in that computer's IP address or the actual
name of the computer, if it's on your network.

Subject: Dial-up stumble

I have a Dial-up Netrworking entry literally named "ECRadio" with all
the
parameters properly defined, and when I click directly on it it dials up

appropriately. But when I start up WINVNC Viewer, and it asks for the
server to connect to, I run into trouble. I type in "ECRadio"
correctly,
and it immediately comes back saying, "Failed to get server address.
Did
you type the host name correctly?" I know I typed it correctly, but it
won't even try dialing. With local network names, it works fine. What
am
I doing wrong?

Thanks, Jim.
