I'm trying to connect to my home computer running Win XP through a Netgear router. I thought that the problem I was having was related to that, but another is able to connect to mine without trouble, now the issue is that, at work through the windows 2000 server I am unable to access. I can access the java login, but it is giving me the same errors as before when I try to login.
When I use the url network error: server name unknown When I use the IP network error: no route to server I have opened up both ports 5800 and 5900 to outgoing TCP on the server, which makes no difference.
