Hi,

I have RealVNC 3.3.7 service installed and running in a Win2K server. I also
have the viewer on my own computer (Win XP). I cannot for the lofe of me
figure out how to set it up to run in 24-bit (or higher) mode.

I typically use Terminal Services to connect to the server, but I have an
application that has a GUI that requires more colors than RDP5 supports.

I have followed every example that I can find, with no luck. The most
frustrating thing is that it was working before (in higher color) on another
identical server, but the hard drive went bad on that one. When I installed
on the new server (from the same zip file even), I cannot connect at the
needed depth. I have since downloaded and installed version 3.3.7 with the
same results.

Are there settings outside of VNC that I need to make on the server and/or
client? I am running the server as a service -- do I need to issue start
parameters?

If anyone can list specific instructions for me, I would appreciate it. Most
of the postings I have seen were for various unix flavors.

Thanks,

Scott Isaacs
