I've never installed vnc before on my pc. but the message "Another instance of WinVNC is already running" appeared upon startup of my Win2K.
A search of "vnc" on my harddisk revealed (only) this file "VNCHooks.dll" under c:\winnt\fonts . But strangely i couldn't see this file in windows explorer, even when "show hidden files and folders" is selected, and "hide protected oerating system files" is unselected.
