Changing subnet masks changes a lot in the TCP/IP world.  Are you able to
ping the machines you are having trouble with?

You mention that you are using DHCP, have the machines on both ends updated
with the new subnet mask?

Not having too much VPN experience myself, do you need to change your VPN
configuration to support the new subnet mask?
