Assuming your DNS is set up correctly, it doesn't matter.

No they can't. "In order for your name to be recognized in the Internet's
DNS system it must be registered and unique."

An IP can only be used by one computer at a time, but a computer can have
more than on IP if it has multiple interfaces.
