To all...

I am trying to close out my last question/dilemna in VNC

I have the FREEWARE version which thus far has met all expectations thrown
at it but one.

Is there a way to use the VIEWER to access an individual NT 4.0 machine
SERVER without the ability of the user to stop in any way the ability for
the VIEWER (Administrator in this instance) to access their machine at will.
I have 250 plus machines with 'Policy Editor' (so they are quite securely
locked down) and want to remotely administer the machines 'at will'. I find
however that when I put the 'AllowProperties' command in the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE area that it 'kills' my ability to do anything on the
remote machine. I can see the screen just fine, the user has no access
privileges, but I can not do anything on their machine but see the screen.
Likewise when I leave the line out, the user has the ability to mess with
password etc. which I do not want them to have the ability. What I am
asking is, is there a way to input the 'AllowProperties' SOMEWHERE to stop
all abilities of the REMOTE user end so that the ADMINISTRATOR (Viewer in
this case) can have full control? Please explain.

I also had a question as to how to get the system NT to reboot and allow for
access from ADMIN also but think I have the answer from one of our
colleagues.

Thank you in advance,

Dan Matlock
