you can download a program that provides a dynamic ip to name lookup which works very well - for me anyway! How is your LAN connected to the Ineternet? I ask because you will have to map port number 58xx and 59xx to the physical LAN Ip number of your server in the box (ADSL Modem etc) that connects the LAN to the outside world. xx above is the number of the screen that your VNC server is set to ie 00 if you use screen 0, 01 if you use screen 1 etc. The no-ip software needs to be set up in your server so that IT is the system that is addressed via a dynamic name.
