How did you run ipconfig. Did you click start run then ipconfig? Try this, Start, Run, Command, Then in the command box type ipconfig.

I know something is going on with this machine, a Dell Dimension 8100 with Windows ME running, because I sometimes get odd error messages as though there is a pop-up utility running, and I un-installed it months ago.
